The ADL5565-EVALZ is an evaluation board for ADL5565 devices. It is a fully populated, 4-layer, FR4 based evaluation board. The ADL5565 is a high performance differential amplifier optimised for RF and IF applications. The amplifier offers low noise of 1.5nV/√Hz and excellent distortion performance over a wide frequency range making it an ideal driver for high speed 8bit to 16bit ADC's. For normal operation it requires a single 5V/100mA power supply. The 5V power supply should be connected to the test loops labelled VPOS and GND. The RF input signal is applied to the SMA connector labelled J1. The RF output is available at the SMA connector labelled J2. The evaluation board may be converted to a fully differential input and output by installing SMA connectors. The 3 pin header, P1 controls the enable function. A test loop is provided to allow control from an external signal source.
