The AD5316ARUZ is a quad 10-bit buffered voltage output Digital-to-analog Converter (DAC) operates from a single 2.5 to 5.5V supply, consuming 500μA at 3V. Its on-chip output amplifier allows rail-to-rail output swing with a slew rate of 0.7V/μs. A 2-wire serial interface which operates at clock rates up to 400kHz is used. The output of DAC can be updated simultaneously using the asynchronous LDAC input. The part incorporates a power-on reset circuit that ensures the DAC outputs power up to 0V and remains it until a valid write to the device takes place. The software clear function clears all DACs to 0V. The parts contain a power-down feature that reduces the current consumption of the device to 300nA at 5V.
