The MHP-1220A-100A is a 1.2mm ultra Flat Heat Pipe with micro technology. It may be possible to eliminate the need for a costly fan and heat sink, with the additional benefits of reducing power consumption, noise output, product thickness and cost. The flat heat pipes can directly remove heat from the source and be transferred direct to the chassis or to an external heat sink.
