The HC00 series Scotch? Rubber Splicing Tape is highly conformable self-fusing ethylene propylene rubber (EPR), high-insulating voltage tape. It has a snakeskin liner that is easily removed as the tape is applied. It is without halogen and it resists in the UV and ozone and is not vulcanized. It is compatible with all the synthetic insulations cables and with the paper insulations cables with migrant material. The turns of the tape weld together in a homogeneous form after application.
Can be used to splice and terminate cables whose emergency overload temperatures can reach 266°F
Physical and electrical properties are unaffected by the degree of stretch
Self-fusing tape
Excellent electrical properties
A special polyester liner which will not stick to the tape upon unwind
Compatible with all solid dielectric cable Insulation
